The Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 7 Clay is designed for tennis players seeking quick first steps, decisive accelerations, and fluid changes of direction. Compared to the previous generation, it offers a more precise fit and superior ankle support, while maintaining the characteristic lightness of the Exceed line.

Mizuno Enerzy NXT is integrated into the forefoot and heel to increase energy return during starts and restarts. The Mizuno Enerzy XP insole adds softness and responsiveness, while the PoWnCe midsole helps to keep the weight down without sacrificing comfort.

The 3D-Solid upper combines flexibility, breathability, and durability. The longer tongue and updated eyelet arrangement hold the foot more securely. The Mizuno Wave plate supports lateral stability, and the D-Flex Groove facilitates quick rotations during changes of direction.

The sole uses DX Rubber, Mizuno's most durable compound, with a full-surface herringbone pattern to provide grip and controlled slides on clay courts.
