Terms and conditions of sale and website use

These terms govern online purchases of products on racketroom.it and use of the website. Provisions relating to consumers apply to individuals purchasing for purposes outside their professional or business activities.

2. Products and website use

Product and variant characteristics are described on the relevant product pages. Colours in images may vary depending on your screen; the obligation for the product to conform to its description and your consumer rights remain unaffected.

To make a purchase, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. You must provide accurate information, use authorised payment methods and keep any account credentials secure. Use of the website for fraud, unlawful activities, spreading malware or unauthorised access is prohibited.

3. Orders and formation of the contract

You select products and variants, add them to your cart and complete checkout. Before submitting your order, you can check and correct the products, quantities, contact details and delivery method. Submitting an order creates an obligation to pay and constitutes an offer to purchase; the contract is formed when Racket Room communicates its acceptance by email. An automatic acknowledgement of receipt alone does not constitute acceptance unless it expressly includes acceptance.

If a product is unavailable or we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any amounts collected without undue delay. We will not substitute products or increase the agreed amount without your consent. Corrections to errors on the website do not affect rights relating to contracts already concluded.

You may keep the confirmation received by email and save or print these terms. To correct an order already submitted or request cancellation before fulfilment, contact us at info@racketroom.it. After fulfilment, you may still exercise your right of withdrawal within the applicable time limits.

4. Prices and payments

Prices for consumers include applicable taxes. The currency, any discounts, shipping costs and total amount payable are shown before you submit your order. The payment methods displayed at checkout are available. Subsequent price changes do not affect the price of orders already concluded.

Discount codes and promotions apply subject to the conditions and expiry dates stated for each offer; any ability to combine offers must be expressly stated.

5. Shipping and in-store pickup

We ship to Italy and other European destinations enabled at checkout. Shipping is free for orders of €75 or more and costs €10 for orders below €75. The threshold is calculated on the total value of the products after discounts, excluding shipping costs.

Order preparation, including on Saturdays, and handover to the carrier follow the arrangements described in the Shipping Policy. Monday orders are normally prepared for shipment on Tuesday morning, except on public holidays. Transit times depend on the destination and service used. Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, delivery takes place without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being concluded; statutory remedies remain available in the event of a delay.

For transport arranged by Racket Room, we bear the risk of loss or damage until delivery to the consumer or to a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier.

When available and selectable at checkout, you may collect your order from our store at Top Center. Wait for notification that your order is ready before coming to collect it.

6. Withdrawal and refunds

Consumers may notify us of their decision to withdraw within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason, including for products on promotion. For goods from the same order delivered separately, the period begins with the last item. Goods must be returned within 14 days of the notification.

You are responsible for the direct shipping costs of a return under the right of withdrawal. You may also return items directly to our store. These costs do not apply to resolving a lack of conformity or an error on our part.

7. Statutory guarantee

For consumer purchases, Racket Room is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at delivery and becomes apparent within two years of delivery, without prejudice to any additional mandatory rights that apply. You may request repair or replacement free of charge, unless this is impossible or involves disproportionate costs under the law. In the circumstances provided for by law, you are entitled to a price reduction or termination of the contract.

For assistance, email info@racketroom.it with your order details and a description of the problem. The statutory guarantee is separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal and any manufacturer's commercial guarantee. It does not cover damage caused by the customer or normal wear and tear where these do not result from a lack of conformity.

8. Shopify, privacy and content

The store uses the Shopify platform. The sales contract is concluded with Racket Room, which remains your point of contact for orders, returns and guarantee claims; Shopify provides the technology platform and is not the seller of the products.

The processing of personal data is described in the store's Privacy Policy. Trademarks, photographs and other content belong to their respective owners. Their use must respect intellectual property rights and the uses permitted by law.

9. Complaints, applicable law and changes

For complaints or enquiries relating to purchases, contact info@racketroom.it. Italian law applies, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of habitual residence, where applicable. Consumer disputes fall within the jurisdiction determined by the mandatory rules protecting consumers, including the consumer's local court where provided for.

No provision excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If a clause is invalid, the other valid provisions remain unaffected. Any updates apply to orders placed after publication; orders already concluded remain subject to the version in force at the time of purchase.
